What kind of protocols do your Gateway products support
?
| Our RoboGate VoIP Gateway products
now support ITU-T's H.323 and SIP protocol. We will
also support other protocols in the future. |
2. How much bandwidth is needed for one
channel's voice service ?
| Theoretically, the more bandwidth,
the better the voice quality. Our Gateway products
provide low bandwidth consumption capabilities.
It will consume minimum average 10Kbps of bandwidth
each channel. |
3. My friend doesn't have a Gateway. How
can I call to him through his computer ?
| Your friend must have a
personal computer installed with a NetMeeting like
software, an Internet connection and the hardware
required for running the software, such as full-duplex
sound card, headset. |
4. How can I
make a call if I can't register to a Gatekeeper ?
| In this case, you must know the exact
IP address of the remote end you want to connect.

5. Can I connect
a fax machine to Gateway and fax through the Internet?
| Yes. You must connect your
fax machine to the FXS port of our Gateway. |
6. What's the
advantage of the QOS ?
| The QOS is a mechanism
to let certain packets with higher priority passing
through networks before the other packets with lower
priority. In general VOIP applications, we often
set voice packets with higher priority to ensure
satisfying quality.

7. Does RoboGate
provide Radius authentication for billing to connect to
Cisco 5300 ?
| Yes, we provide RADIUS
authentication for billing system and support Cisco
and other major VoIP vendor for terminations. |
8. If our ISP block the 1719 VoIP service
ports, what can we do ?
| Our RoboGate VoIP gateway
can use different service ports. |
