RMA / DOA Policy

Scope  

DOA : For local customers, Eware provides a one month warranty from invoice date. For oversea customers, Eware provides a three month warranty from invoice date.

RMA : Eware provides a one year warranty from invoice date. For those replaced components, we provide a three month warranty.

Procedure  

  • Eware will only accept RMA/DOA requests by fax. This will eliminate verbal communication errors, and will facilitate handling and verification and tracking of all RMA/DOA requests.
  • Customers need to fill out the RMA/DOA request form with complete information.
  • After Eware receives your RMA/DOA request list, we will respond by faxing the RMA/DOA number back to customer within 24 hours.
  • Only DOA 's warranty period will be authorized to replace new products. But if the products have Serious defects beyond repair, it can only be replaced after the authorization of Eware CEO.
  • If customer has a contract or other regulation for the order. Not according to the above mentioned DOA warranty period and returned products terms.

    Turnaround Time  

    DOA Products
    Replaced with new products or credited at Eware's choice within 15 working days after receipt of the DOA request by Eware.

    RMA Products
  • In the out-of-warranty situation, before we make the repairs, we will send you a quotation with the repair charges and the time needed. Please sign this quotation as confirmation and return. We will promptly start the repair once we receive the quotation. If they are free of charge, we will start the repair at once after informing you the time needed.
  • If RMA can't be repaired in time. We will replaced it with our stocked product under your agreement. If new products are required, it needs the authorization of Eware CEO.
  • During the warranty period, if the products are not used properly, or damaged due to nature hazards, Eware will estimate the repair charges and liability, and then decide repair is free or charged. If RMA products are out-of-warranty, repair costs will be paid for by the customer.
     
    NTF (No trouble found) Products
    If there are no problems found in the products after testing, we will collect a portion of the shipping costs, handling fees and testing fees.
